Post-Interview Checklist
After an interview, answer "yes" or "no" to the following questions:
- Was I relaxed and confident?
- Did I "control" my part of the interview with good solid questions?
- Were my questions well thought out?
- Did I listen?
- Was my knowledge of the company adequate?
- Was my personal appearance flawless?
- Were my remarks well controlled?
- Did I jump to answer questions rather than listen carefully?
- Did I pause to give plausible answers?
- Were all the facts about my record in order?
- Did I prove my points?
- Did I sell, convince and persuade?
- Did I concentrate on the interviewer's topics?
- During the interview, were my thoughts somewhere else?
- Was I able to relate my background to the job requirements?
- Was I completely frank?
- Did I demonstrate that I really wanted the job?
- Was I able to furnish facts on why I could handle the job?
- Did I skip anything in preparing for the interview?
- Did I pre-examine all aspects of the job?
- Did I take anything for granted in preparing for the interview?
- Overall, did I do well?
- Have I sent a thank you note?
