Support Services

There are many resources and services at CCBERC that can help you with your job search and career development activities. Staff is available to assess and determine what services you may be eligible to receive. Please visit the center and talk with a staff member today. Some services which can be utilized at any time are listed below.

Job Boards
Jobs that we receive from employers are entered into the Maryland Workforce Exchange System and are also physically posted on job boards that line the center's hallway. Last year, thousands of jobs were posted here for customers to view.

Computers with Internet
The center hosts three computer labs, holding at least 25 computers for customers to use free of charge. All computers are up-to-date with current software applications and Internet access. Computers can be used for career and job searching activities.

Laser Printers
Laser printers are available throughout the center for employment and training use.

Telephones
Telephones are placed throughout the center for use with job search and career activities.

Fax Machine
A fax machine is available for customer use for job searching.

Copier
Copiers are available for your job search needs.

E-Mail
If system compatible, you may access your e-mail from the computer lab. Staff can also assist you with obtaining an e-mail account.

Job Search Supplies
Discs, quality resume paper and matching envelopes are available.

Newspapers
Newspapers from local publishers are available for job searching.

Resource Library
A resource library of over 1000 books, audio and videotape resources is available for career development and employment and training topics.
